The Vatican Bars Gays to Save Them from What?

Like Martha Stewart’s you’re fired line, the Vatican is telling homosexuals “I’m sorry, you just don’t fit in.” Stating that part of their decision is a result of the the priest sexual abuse scandal where 80 percent of the young children abused were boys. The Church actually believes that by barring homosexuals, sexual abuse by priests and others in the church will decline – See New York Times article “Gay Men Ponder Impact of Proposal by Vatican” before they make you pay for it. Also falling back on the bullshit reasoning of “it’s for their own good,” “Holy men” such as Rev. John Trigilio Jr., president of the Confraternity of Catholic Clergy states that: "The work and the ministry of the priesthood is going to be too demanding and will put a strain on them. He's going to have to spend five to eight years in a seminary where he's only going to be with men." When will the people of this world wakeup to the hate they spread? Being Homosexual does NOT, and I repeat, DOES NOT mean the same person is a Pedophile. This is a myth and a lie and uses the same bullshit reasoning that “only gay people get and spreads AIDS” rested on. Stop with the Hate!

1. Homosexuals will not threaten your heterosexual marriage or lifestyle. 2. Homosexuals will not threaten your spirituality. 3. Homosexuals will not move into to you neighborhood to “convert” your children to their lifestyle.

And if homosexuals end up leaving the Catholic Church in droves to open alternative places for worship, spirituality and love—I wouldn’t blame them one bit. You know, there are many reasons why people are leaving the Catholic Fold in droves and this is just one of them.
